It may not be a perfect, fashionable, or appropriate idea for a wedding ring, but for a ring that would accessorize your fingers during any occasion, a personalized name ring would surely be unique and outstanding.
It may not be difficult finding a shop, designer, or jewelry maker that would be willing to take orders for personalized name rings. You could even find one online. Thus, it should never be a problem having a ring personalized for your self. However, there are still factors that you should logically and naturally consider when getting any personalized name ring.
First, decide on the material to be used. You could have your personalized name ring made in gold, white gold, platinum, or silver sterling. It is advisable to note your skin’s reaction to such elements. For instance, your skin might incur allergic reactions to silver sterling. If that is the case, opt to have your ring made in gold or platinum.
Second, consider the name you want to use as a design. In a personalized name ring, you could always have your own name used. However, if it is too long, you might want to use your short nickname instead. It would not be fashionable having your full first and last name as a design for your ring. It would be ideal if your nickname is not more than eight letters. You could also opt to have your initials used instead.

They could easily bend and could be dent easily especially during heavy physical impact. The name plate of your ring may easily be detached or deformed if the overall weight of the ring does not appropriately support it.
