Cathy always dreamed of going to Paris someday; so when I married her last month, I told her I would take her there for our honeymoon. Of course, one cannot see Paris for the first (or 2nd or 3rd) time without seeing the Eiffel Tower. This view is taken from one of the beautiful gardens found beneath the tower. Unfortunately, in February, the gardens aren’t nearly as nice as they are in the spring.

Finding a unique way to photograph one of the most photographed icons on this planet is a real challenge. This was one of my attempts.

Jim and I were married in June 1975 and went to Savannah, GA for our honeymoon. He took this photo of me at a restaurant table. He could always hold a camera at a slow shutter speed much better than I could hold it. My photos of him are not as sharp.
